Welcome To Norwich Ukulele Society
A lot can change in 24 hours!
Following the latest advice from the UK government we have decided to officially suspend all NUS activities. That means the not-quite-mid-month meet this Wednesday is cancelled and our usual meet this Sunday is also cancelled.
The organisers of the Norwich Door-to-Door gig contacted us earlier to say that the event is cancelled.
Further than that, we really can’t say how things will pan out. Please check here or on facebook for updates.
Norwich Ukulele Society was founded by Gemma Cullingford and Amy Wragg and the first meeting was held in February 2010. Under the stewardship of Liam Capper-Starr and then Scott Chapman and Paul Dolphin, the Society grew strongly. In February 2020 the Society changed to a more co-operative leadership with the formation of a committee. We continue to welcome new members to join us.
We meet every other Sunday at The Cellar House in Eaton, The Cottage in Thorpe and occasionally elsewhere (watch the calendar). There are also midweek meetings from time to time. New members are always welcome.
If you’re visiting our site because you’re thinking of joining Norwich Ukulele Society, why not browse our song book. There’s sure to be something you like.
